15 tips and tricks you need to know about Diablo 2 Resurrected! Useful info, anecdotes, do you know them all? I'm sure that it's not the case ! 🙂

1. Have the Transparency buff without Treachery

And obviously without necessarily playing Assassin! Just change your armor once you have the buff, as the buff stays on you. This is especially extremely practical for your mercenary, you can give him another armor with the Transparency buff of +60 to all resistances and +15 damage reduced, or to yourself! To do complicated activities like Uber, or Diarun / Baalrun solo.

2. The color of Wirt's leg

The color of Wirt's leg directly indicates whether it is usable in that difficulty level. If it's red, it's not the right level! If it is white, it is because it is good!

3. Always have the right Mephisto Soul Stone

Unnamed galley to manage Mephisto's Soulstones, the easiest way is to never pick up Soulstones on Mephisto, or if you did throw them. Before doing the Forge quest, talk to Deckard Cain who will give you the Soul Stone linked to this difficulty! You can also identify by its color, as is the case with the Leg of Wirt, but it is frankly less practical!

No need to store your Soul Stones, you will always have the right one!

4. Collect his cube after act 2

Very practical when you rush someone, give them your cube, there will be one more in act 3 on the advice of Travincal! No need to go through the Corridors of the Dead!

5. Find the translations of the original game

Nocture Howler, Kodiak, doesn't that speak to you? These are the new translations of Loup-Garou and Grizzly. Don't ask me the reason, but you can still find the original names by switching back to legacy mode, using the G key! This is particularly useful if you are looking for information, for example you will get more results by typing Build Grizzly than Build Kodiak!

6. Ethereal green set items

Sad news if you were still looking, but it's impossible to get Ethereal set items, and yes, they don't exist. Just as it is impossible to improve them in the cube. It's a shame, we could have thought of two numerous ethereal elite set combinations! I would have been happy to try an elite full sigon set or put Tal Rasha's ethereal helmet on my mercenary!

Tal Rasha's Tomb still activates the same way, surprisingly enough, however, it is different from the original game. Proof that the game was rebuilt from scratch, Blizzard trap to make it seem like it is, or just me rambling ?!

8. Recover the stick act 2 in full transmutation

Rather anecdotal, but if you like speed runs or just don't waste your time, you can save a bit by collecting the stick before the animation runs out! In itself, it always makes me laugh to see the animation that continues when the stick is no longer in it.

9. The real tomb of Tal Rasha

Very good tip for making Duriel runs, you can easily find the symbol of the correct grave. This is also useful in rush. Just look at the missing symbol when you kill the Summoner! Refer to the drawing below.

10. The Gem Sanctuary

If gems are your thing, you'll need this trick! A shrine allows you to upgrade your gem to a higher quality gem. In itself, you will save 2/3 of the materials. This is very handy if you need a perfect gem, or a particular level of gem. Note that if you do not have a gem, it will necessarily give a gem of a lower level.

11. Know the real Baal

When Baal splits up, there is always a way to know who the real Baal is. This can be particularly useful when you have trouble killing it, by avoiding typing its copy you will save a lot of time! The trick is not very visible, but you will notice that the fake Baal has his title Demon slightly more centered!

12. Lower the resistance of immune

Essential element of Diablo 2, they are enemies immune to the elements. To remove their immunity, you must lower their resistance below 100, with either the Lesser Resistance curse or the Conviction aura. However, the resistances applied count only at 20%, for example for the Countess in Hell:

• 108 fire resistance - requires 45% debuff, either Lesser Resistance 4 or Conviction 4
• 130 cold resistance - requires 155% debuff, impossible except when combining Least Resistance and Conviction!

13. Stop overheating and overconsuming your PC

Patch added on December 2, you can now use a patch to prevent your PC from overheating and overconsuming. This is only valid for the Nvidia RTX, but having because of Diablo 2 at least multiplied by 10 my electricity bill, it is very appreciable and works extremely well! Thanks to Djcomix for the tip! If ever you don't have RTX and you're AFK, use the G key to switch back to legacy and avoid consuming!

14. Easily boost your CTA

CTA or Rally Cry is one of the most useful runic words in the game, however it quickly gets expensive because you need to have an Ohm, Mal, and Ist. The trick is to trade a weak CTA, for example I got my CTA +1 Combat Orders for 2 Ists. Then take anything that gives +1 to skills:

• shield: Spirit
• helmet: Shako
• amulets: Mara or Highlord
• And possibly Arach belt, Bks or even Soj rings
• beware the Barbarian torch unfortunately does not work
• Also remember to always do Battle Order first!
• you will therefore easily have +5 with Spirit Shako, +6 or +7 with amulet, and +10 to the max

15. Quick cast spells

Likewise, new in the December 2 patch, you can now use the keyboard to cast a spell, rather than before casting spells only with the mouse! You will also be able to display them by selecting the option just below.
