Build Mage The Slormancer: a build allowing to make level X rifts without having a lot of equipment!
Preamble and build objectives
This build will allow you to easily push the anger levels of the expeditions, without having a full legendary +15 equipment. Currently I can finish X Wraths with only Epic and Rare stuff, around +1 +2. Obviously the anger X is long, but it will be perfect for making anger 6-7, then when you have a little more stuff more quickly the anger 10.
I wanted to publish it to you now so that you have enough to destroy the Intermediate Expeditions + without having to struggle to find equipment. You will be able to more easily recover gold and materials in order to develop your characters.
The advantage is that from 0 and in just ten hours, you can start tataning the anger X and speedrun expeditions 6-7!
Gameplay and synergy
This build will be based on two very important mechanics:
- the arcane bond, it is our main damage and will allow to kill the elites even angry 10 in a few seconds
- crowd control, you can imagine that when you have no equipment; angry creeps 10 hit hard, unless they can't hit!
For the type of damage:
- elemental damage
- boosted by critical and ancestral hits
Skills and ancestral heritage
Here are the skills and the associated tree:
Arcane Commander, Arcane Barrier: Allows you to buff Arcane Binding and Anti-Projectile
- Methodical Wizard: Damage over time for Arcane Bond
- gag: silence on critical hit, very practical on elites
- Punishment: applies Arcane Binding if you catch a projectile
- Arcane Ritual: Arcane Bond damage buff
- mana protection: more armor but not very useful
- battle mage: not much use
- Arcane Sacrament: Arcane Bond damage buff
- Arcane Ceremony: Arcane Bond damage buff
Chrono-perforation: your single target damage and buff
- chrono-manipulation: gain mana
- chrono-speed: gain in attack speed per stack (CDR)
- selective bond: arcane bond applique
- time manipulation: Arcane Bond damage buff
- chrono-improvement: more stack for attack speed
Arcane Breach: Your area damage and crowd control
- harvest what you sow: more mana and regen
- Multiple Breaches: Cooldown or Permalink: Arcane Bond Duration Buff
- double sliding knot: Arcane Binding damage buff
- Ever-Changing Breach: Increases duration every time you use Time Punch
- force of gravity: attracts creeps in
Ancestral heritage:
- burst of light: sends an elemental ray when you hit a target (you hit about 30 hits a second), to activate when aggro is done.
- elemental boost: additional element damage
Note that physical damage (therefore gross + reaper) does not interest us, we are only looking for elementary damage to boost the arcane breach and the arcane link.
Equipment
For the equipment, here are the statistics to collect:
- critical hit chance and elemental damage
- Critical Hit Damage, Ancient Hit Chance, Ancient Hit Damage, Attack Speed, Max Mana
- glove life steal, magic stats
For the slorm reaper:
- 1st choice: stick of the agile warrior, for critical hits
- While waiting to find it: fierce affinity stick (max mana) or ancestral inheritance stick (elem damage)
Attribute, liabilities
Here is what I recommend:
- Fury: 10 points, for critical strike chance
- Fervor: 10 points, for Ancestral Hit Chance
- Willpower: the rest, for elemental damage

With this build mage on The Slormancer, very naturally, that is to say which is based on very good synergies to do enormous damage without dying, your will have no trouble making your first legendaries, recovering materials for big craft, then at speed farm the angers X!
