Surface region

The first large region of act 1, here are the waypoints and the secrets.

Waypoints:

  • Camp
  • Silvanus Grove
  • Devastated village

  • Causeway cliffs
  • Goblin Camp

The elements hidden below:

  1. Hatch for the wet crypt : Access an area full of skeletons to retrieve the communication amulet with the dead. You will have to go through the secret passage at the back of the room on your right to wake up the skeletons via the sarcophagus. A door also leads to the chapel.
  2. Spider Summon Egg : Climb to the top of the hill, look in the hole at the level of the rocks (you will have to make a perception roll to see it). Then make a dexterity check to catch the egg. Once in your possession, when you cast it, baby spiders will be your companions.
  3. Access to the sarcophagus : Go through this door (or go around through the chapel) to access the sarcophagus and collect its loot. Remember to defuse the traps that are around before activating it.
  4. Well for Dark Amethyst : access a cave with a boss spider to then retrieve the dark amethyst and open the Book Necromancy of Thay.
  5. Thay's pound trap : open the hatch to access a cellar with a secret passage at the level of the cupboard. On your left you will have a lever hidden behind boxes. Activate the lever, kill the mobs in the next area, pass the mirror and go to your left to collect the book.
  6. Owl Bear Cave : you will be able to fight an owl bear and its baby then recover one of its eggs.
  7.  Area to cross the river : you can jump from one bank to the other at these two places, take a potion of strength if necessary then go get a waypoint to make the rest of your team cross.
  8. Zone hatch secret : take the hatch from the road to renewal, go to the back on your left and put two figures seated on the chairs (remember to ungroup them so that they remain seated). You will then have opened the secret passage to a loot area!
  9. Behind the waterfall : go through the little one path near the waterfall, then go inside, zoom the camera then jump the wall to reach a +1 equipment.
  10. High chest : Take a potion of strength, go around and jump to the level of the broken floor. You will be able to collect two chests, one by jumping again from one tower to another, with a crafting ingredient in it. Our guide to recovering the chest is here !
  11. Access to the temple of the moon of Seluné : Go either through the large door or through the cracked wall just above, go to your left, collect the key from the NPCs, then open the door just to the right. Continue to the back of the room to find the hidden door, kill the troll and go to the back to fall on the puzzle of the temple of the moon of Seluné.

  12. Inca engravings : jump behind the hut to find a skeleton with gold as well as Inca style engravings. Currently no interaction but I note it to monitor it!
  13. Hatch for the Zhentarim hideout : go through the bar to reach the hatch. You will be in a buffer room, with little interest except a hidden wall at the back of it. Go through this secret passage and you will reach the hideout. You can then access the dark depths by hooking the lift lock.
  14. Jump zone : Access a difficult combat zone, kill the old mud bats first, otherwise they will summon endless minions. On the other hand, no other interesting things!
  15. Hidden Goblin Booty : As the name suggests, you will find loot stashed by vile goblins here!
  16. Tieffelins hideout : When you pass the level of the number indicated on the card, you will have to succeed a perception roll to find the secret passage. You can leave by another place, on the other hand it is one way and therefore impossible to enter by here.
  17. Hidden chest : a chest under a large rock, to help you start the adventure. You will need to succeed on a nature roll and have enough strength to throw it! You will find a ruby ​​at 1600 gold as well as a map for a treasure at the Hautelunes tower (act 2)
  18. Passage of the prison : a secret passage just behind the prison! There you will find a Green Nature Trap Rod and an Arcane Headband Tiara. Collect the key from the corpse below to open the chest further. Be careful with fireballs though! You can also access this area via the forest or the bottom of the enclave.
  19. Wolf rune : to activate a secret area and collect a unique weapon. Our tutorial on how to activate the wolf rune is available !

Underground region Dark Deepholm

The second great region of act 1, here are the waypoints and the secrets.

Waypoints:

  • Dark depths - strong
  • Dark Deepholm - Surreau
  • Dark Deepholm - Beach
  • Myconid colony

There you will find the following hidden elements:

  1. Teleport to Aunty : you can reach Aunty's lair through this path, climb the wall with jumps (potion of strength if necessary), you will then come to an area with a hidden wall and behind a teleport to Auntie.
  2. Suppurating creek : after the jump, you will have a rock to descend, you will then reach the area of ​​the boss god Bouual. To make it appear, consult our guide to Bouual.
  3. Arcane Tower : You will have to activate the elevator, then activate the secret floor to collect the hidden loot. Remember to consult our Complete guide to the arcane tower if needed !
  4. Myrna's Tomb : with a successful arcane throw, you will notice that the grave is made thanks to a powerful spell. You will also have the dog's collar, which will take its interest very far from it! Collect and equip it, go to the arcane tower on the 2nd floor at the bottom left, press the button which normally puts "nothing happens", this time you will have food falling!   5. Very Rare Purple Helmet Shadow of Menzoberranzan : you will get this helmet by helping the Myconids or by accessing their secret hideout, be careful they may not be happy!
  6. Boss spectator : a hidden boss, it will not bring much loot, on the other hand the drow nearby, they do! If you ever have a problem, our Spectator boss guide is available.
  7. Zhentarim Hideout : You can access the hideout if you have repaired the elevator beforehand. Conversely, if you come from the hideout to the depths.
  8. Mushroom picker : to complete the quest for the myconid colony, be careful, it explodes around! It is not easy to find so I preferred to specify it.
  9. Boss Filro the Forgotten : a small boss by the way, just next to the teleportation point. Be careful, it is not obvious because it is very well guarded. The weasel is also making an appearance to top it off!
  10. NPC Mind Flayer : you should meet him if you do the whole village, but I prefer to mention him because he is ultra important for the lore. It will also allow you to recover the psionic protection ring protecting you from the effects of your larva! You will need to collect two pieces of information by dialoguing with the NPC, you will first believe that your larva is in stasis, then learn that in fact it is much stronger than normal.
  11. Susurreau bark : linked with item 20 of the surface map, to create the sword of susure weapon

Zhentarims hideout area

An annex area, not the most filled with secrets but a few key points all the same!

Waypoints:

  • Zhentarim Hideout

The secrets :

  1. Surface entry / exit : go through the bar to the north of the surface map, you will wait for a buffer room with a secret wall at the back. Once crossed, you arrive at the hideout.
  2. Invisible wall : you can cross this wall to reach the load elevator. Just get through!
  3. Entrance / exit through the depths : take a character with good dexterity and roll as if to pick a lock. This will repair the elevator and gain access to the dark depths.

The famous secret floor you can access it from the basement with a magus doing the spell (not misty) and being in the axis of the wall break close to the stairs and you can teleport to the other side of the door secret then activate the lever….

Hi, I don't really know if you classify it as a secret, but otherwise you are missing The Forge for the quest for "the master's weapon" which requires a whistle bark. The smithy is in a cellar in the devastated village and bark where you hit Filro in the depths. Besides, you can access the area where the spider matriarch is from the forge
