After three weeks following my class change on Diablo Immortal, I give you my feedback and the mistakes to avoid!

First steps on the new class

When you change class, here are the three main things that change:

• more legendary powers
• bad set attributes when passing on an intelligence/strength class
• the bad legendary gems
• more skins

I will detail each section so that you are best prepared, you can also possibly store your objects that you wish to keep.

Farm legendaries again

The main problem when you change class is to collect all the essences of these legendary powers. There are no miracles and you will need time to collect essences in order to make a worthy build. Remember, however, to have at least 2 million gold in stock to be able to bet the 10 weapons and armor at Yakin every day and collect as many legendaries as possible. Avoid using your incuses to get legendaries!

Sets

A rather special element of the class change, the game gives you, in the same way as the legendaries, reservist objects, having no set bonus. You can, however, equip your old sets.

Attributes and what class change

Be careful if you are in strength (or intelligence) and you pass in intelligence (or strength)! Going from a Barbarian Crusader Monk Demon Hunter to Necromancer Sorcerer will therefore be more complicated, but you can quite easily change within these four and two classes.

Skins

Some skins are tied to the acquisition class, so you will need to unlock the desired skin with the desired class.

The gems

You keep your Legendary and Normal Gems, but even though Normal Gems are very focused on Tourmaline damage and Sapphire Armor Penetration, you will need to change your Legendary Gems. For example if you pass summoning necromancer or ranged melee. Note that I got back on my feet, using my old gems, but don't forget that you need the base legendary gem to upgrade to higher levels, which was even trickier with two-star gems like hematic reach on my demon hunter. Better be sure of your choice!

PvP Battleground

The most problematic will be PvP, since you don't have legendary powers. I advise you to do your three pvp of the day before changing class, then to bet the gold on the two days and farm as many legendaries as possible. You will thus have ten legendaries in two days to be able to redo pvp "correctly".

Return to class after more than a week or change class again

You will find your essences already collected as well as the skins. However you don't have the new skins unlocked. Be very careful you do not have the possibility to cancel! To avoid getting stuck like me!

Changing class in the end, what is the point?

Changing class is above all changing your mind and playing another class that tempts you. Keep in mind that there is no gain, unless for example you want a more efficient class in PvP or vice versa in PvE. It's also a little time to spend to recover the essences in particular, but in the end it will be done well if you have followed the instructions!
