Have six items from a set, investment

I will take the example of the Grace of the Penitent set that I farmed before having the six pieces of the same set:

  • count about 250 dungeons to have a set of 6 basic pieces, i.e. you take the first drops of the set you get
  • if i equip the best green items found, i gain 250 combat score
  • Penitent's Grace inflicts a lightning bolt every 40 seconds on enemies that deals damage and stuns

So the question is, is it worth it?

Having six items from a set, interest

I continue on my example of the Grace of the Penitent:

  • currently the set gives a bolt of 20k damage every 40 seconds and stuns the enemy
  • even if its impact is less on bosses, it makes a big difference in PvP and PvE where you melt your enemies
  • this set still deprives me of 250 combat score, which requires choosing according to the situation

Having six items from a set, when to choose it and when to take the highest combat score

If you manage to get your hands on six pieces from the same set, you will therefore have to alternate depending on the situation:

  • everything that is non-cap in combat score: go to H5, probationary fault, non-cap raids and path of blood, you will rather have the 250 combat score in addition
  • everything that doesn't have a combat score cap: rifts, pvp, bounties, contracts, open world, dungeon, you'd rather have the six-piece set!

The other complete sets

Here are the cases and uses of the other sets if you manage to get all six pieces:

  • Call of the Shepherd to the Wolf | Shepherd's Call to Wolves
    • summon attack speed boosted by 60% every 40 seconds for 12 seconds
    • a good damage boost on bosses
  • Untouchable Charlatan | Untouchable Mountebank
    • the shield explodes and does damage
    • of course an aggro build that groups enemies
  • Desires of Vithu | Vithu's Urges
    • makes a lifesteal zone for your allies
    • of little interest, unless you attempt non-cap Raids or a pvp strat
  • Imbued Issatar | Issatar Imbued
    • grants an orb that does damage for 12 seconds every 40 seconds
    • good if you have an aggro build to draw enemies to you
  • Shal'baas War Rags | War Rags of Shal'baas
    • boosts base attack speed for 12 seconds every 40 seconds
    • practice on bosses, only if you're playing an auto-attack build
  • Feasting Baron Bundle | Feasting Baron's Pack
    • nova that freezes enemies
    • rather limited interest, but practical in pvp
  • Windloft Perfection | Windloft Perfection
    • gives a shield that absorbs damage
    • makes it much easier to keep the Thousand Winds
