Economic model
The economic model of Diablo 4 is a paid game with cosmetic purchase option, bringing no in-game power. For cosmetic purchases, two options, the online store or the season-indexed battle pass. Cosmetic elements can be combined via transmografy, a system similar to Diablo 3.
In-game store
The store will allow you to buy various cosmetic items via the game's premium currency. You can therefore directly buy the cosmetics that interest you, without having to go through a loot box system.
Battle pass and season
It's high fashion and Diablo 4 will not cut it. Each season you will have a free battle pass system that you can upgrade with real money. The developers have planned four seasons per year, each season being associated with its battle pass and the addition of content (vent, balancing, legendaries, etc.).
