A build to start well on Path of Exile Siege of the Atlas 3.17, the power of Scion for an atypical build that rolls over everything!
How the build works
Here is why this build is interesting and powerful at the start of the season:
- a build in physical damage, resistant and hitting hard
- the Scion allows:
- with Raider ancestry to have a 10% chance Frenzy charges when hitting a rare or unique enemy and Onslaught at max charge
- with Assassin Ascendancy to have a 10% chance to charge Power on a critical hit
- to get the red passives, which give life and physical damage
- You will have :
- 5 permanent endurance charges, 20% elemental and physical resistance
- 5 constant frenzy charges, 20% attack speed and damage
- 4 permanent power charges, +200% critical hit chance, generated with Warcry
- you will have 7 gems in your passive tree
Gems and Skills
Here are the gems and links to use:
- On weapon
- Primary Spell: Cyclone, Brutality, Infused Channeling, Melee Physical, Fortify, Impale
- On armor:
- Summon and Curse: Ice Golem | Ancestral Warchief, Maim, Multiple Totem | Vulnerability, Extended duration
- On helmet, boots or gloves:
- Utility: Leap | Enduring Cry | Molten Shell (10), Cast When Damage Taken (1)
- Auras: Precision, Enlighten, Herald of Purity, Pride
Passives tree
Here is the tree of passives, you find both on the tree of PoE Planner here. Take in this order:
- life liabilities
- then the sword passives
- then the passives of critical hits and damage and orbs
You will need 119 points, which is level 93 (you have two more passive points via Scion ancestry)
Passives at level 93
Ancestry
For our Scion, take the passives in this order:
- Two points to fetch Raider
- Raider + 1 point towards Assassin
- Two points for Assassin
- Two points retrieve the beginning of the passive tree
The choice of ancestry
Pantheon
Here are the gods to choose for the major soul:
- Soul of Solaris, resistance against bosses
For the minor soul:
- Soul of Gruthkul, less physical damage received
Bandits
Kill the bandits, the tree is quite greedy you will need the two passive points.
Equipment
This section will be updated once gear is collected, but here's what you should aim for:
- Weapon: a sword with the most physical damage, an Exquisite Blade in endgame for 50% critical multiplier
- Armor: rare with life, resistance then percentage of life
- Helmet: rare with resistance and life, basic armor
- Boots: Kaom's Root Or rare with resistance, movement speed and life, base armor
- Gloves: rare with attack speed, damage added in physics, if possible on Spiked Gloves (damage in addition to base)
- Belt: rare with health, percentage of physical damage and resistances, if possible on Stygian Aim for two holes
- Amulet: attack speed, physical damage added, physical damage over time, life, attributes, resistances, mana or life steal, critical hit and critical multiplier
- Rings: percent damage, added physical damage, life
- Diamond base in endgame
- you can also look for a good Precursor's Emblem, but expensive and rare!
- Amulet Anointment, True Strike - Teal Crimson Black, or Fatal Blade but overpriced
For the potions:
- For care: Divine with instant care and anti-bleeding
- For Onslaught: Silver with increased armor or evasion
- For damage: Sulfur with anti-curse
- For damage and armor: Lion's Roar
- For mobility: Quicksilver with additional movement speed
For gems, look for rare with:
- Life percentage
- Attack speed with sword
- Physical damage with sword
- Attack speed (more expensive)
Plan a "small" budget, since you have 7 slots!
History
- 3.17: creation
An atypical but very powerful build due to its damage and resistance! You will be able to do all the content of the game without any problem but also enjoy a build that is totally different from the others on Path of Exile Siege of the Atlas 3.17!
