The combat score associated with the real money shop are for me the two worst mechanics in the game. However, since they are indeed present, I will explain everything you need to know to circumvent the fact of having to pay to progress. Obviously, if you pay it will be faster, but the objective is to show you how to get around this system and avoid being left behind by players who pay!

What is the Diablo Immortal battle score and why is it important? PvP and or PvE?

The combat score or CR Combat Rating (or even GS for Gear Score in some games) in English is a somewhat hidden statistic, which you find by going to the inventory, the armor for your statistics and clicking on "more attributes". You will have a displayed value, which you will have to constantly increase. This value is crucial in PvE and much less so in PvP. In PvE, he will give you a huge debuff depending on the level of the monsters you face:

• the higher the gap between the monster and yourself, the more damage you will take and the less you will do (both at once)
• this will therefore considerably limit:
  • your blood level
  • your level in probationary fault
  • how easy it is to go to Hell 1, 2, 3 then 4
• the rest is indexed to your level, which will be less of a problem
  • PvP (even if paying players will potentially be better equipped, it's still playable)
  • dungeons
  • normal faults
  • contracts, vault attack, etc.

How to raise your Combat Score, the elements that matter

The combat score does not consider all your equipment, here is what is taken into account:

• your legendary gems
• your reliquary
• the attributes of your objects

If you have therefore noticed, the objects purchasable with real money, in particular legendary gems and reliquary boosts, directly increase your combat score. That's why I'm going to explain how to do it without going through real money!

Combat Score or the rest?

Here is everything that is not taken into account:

• your Horadrim Legacy vessels and levels
• basic gems
• your shadow rank
• your paragon level does not give a combat score but improves the quality of your drops, you find the Diablo Immortal paragon leveling guide here

Unlike Combat Score, these stats will be useful no matter what activity you are doing. It is therefore important to increase these stats!

Why is combat score not so important in PvP?

As indicated in the sufficient section, the combat score does not take into account all the information, having for example personally very good receptacles with a good level from the heritage of the horadrims, this will compensate a little in PvP. Of course, I've come across tough big guys who win a game on their own, but that doesn't stop me from being in the top 50 in PvP without paying.

What is a better combat score item

First step to improve your score is to collect new legendaries. Suffice to say that a legendary object recovered in paragon 20 will have higher attributes than that in paragon 2. Be careful of several points all the same:

• remember to always look at your combat score between two changes, a lot of objects with a better equipment score ultimately give less, unless you have more than two green arrows
• legendary items have 2 or 3 attribute lines and 1 or 2 magic lines, a legendary with 3 attribute lines will give more attribute score for a long time than an item with 2 attribute lines

How to get best legendaries

First step to improve your score is to collect new legendaries. Suffice to say that a legendary object recovered in paragon 20 will have higher attributes than that in paragon 2. Be careful of several points all the same:

To collect legendaries, here are the best areas:

• in ancestral rift - ratio 1 legendary / 10 - do them in a loop and as quickly as possible
• the bestiary - ratio 1 legendary / 3 - take advantage of bonuses to collect monster essences
• PvP - legendary ratio 1 / 4 - play your three matches a day
• contracts - ratio 1 legendary / 5 - if you have time
• orange monsters - ratio 1 legendary / day - if you are lucky enough to find any in the open world
• the gold seller NPC - ratio unknown

You can also come across them in the dungeon, but the ratio is less interesting, unless of course you are looking for set items. Be careful, remember to unlock the probationary rift in solo 30

Open-world farming areas

To recover orange and bestiary monsters, always be in a farm area with a group of 4 and if possible few other players. Here are some examples :

• Tourbefiel, the Pirates' zone
• Sea of ​​Shassar, Kingdom of Damnation, far left
• Mont Zavain, above at the roundabout
• Mount Zavain, bottom left
• Damnation, hard left on the vertical zone
• Cemetery, below
• Librarian Zoltan Kulle at the hidden, but often shielded alcove

Have better sets

The operation is different to legendary, because even if your drops are improved according to the level of paragon, it will also be according to the level of difficulty. That's to say :

• if you have drop set boots in Hell 1 paragon 30, they will be much weaker than boots in Hell 2 paragon 30
• you must therefore in Hell 1 recover 2 set objects, boots and belts
• in Hell 2 get 4 set items, gloves, amulets and again boots and belts
• in Hell 3, rebelotte
• in Hell 4, rebelotte with in addition 2 rings
• before looking for your complete sets in Hell 2, 3 and 4, first do the dungeons with improved set drops, collect four of your new difficulty then try to collect those of your set

Example, I am looking for the Grace of the Penitent set, however when I am paragon 27-28:

• I'm looping The Mad King's Breach into Hell 2, which is one of the dungeons of the week with the upgraded set drops

Passage to Hell 2 Paragon 30

For the passage in Hell 2, it is more complex:

• try to complete a level 30 probationary rift
• the process will be the same whether you succeed or not, you will just have to do the step twice if you have not passed the probationary flaw 30
• put the game in Hell 2 and loop the dungeons of the week, try to have a combat score of 1100 1200 to launch it
• if you have succeeded in fault 30, continue farming to find the four greens with the highest possible equipment score, otherwise make your fault 30 with the equipment recovered and then start again

Passage to Hell 3 Paragon 80 Score 2100

For the passage to Hell 3, we repeat the same principle:

• possibly a probationary fault level to complete
• farm in H3 the 4 new sets

Improve your equipment level

By improving your equipment level, you will have +2 to two statistics. Always try to be at the cap level of your paragon, even if there is no miracle to improve your score of the main objects:

• improve in priority the equipment that gives your main stats (vitality strength or intelligence vitality)
• collect all materials with auto pick up white blue yellow
• visit the incuse merchant to buy all the materials and dust
• do the Namari or Tower dungeons for the most items to salvage

For sets, it's a little different:

• you will only be able to improve them via the materials of the probationary rifts
• go back to the probationary fault and try to improve your score every three days
• you can also get the materials in groups with friends who help you
• every month the best get bonus materials

Have better gems

This is obviously the most complicated point without paying, but there are some tricks:

• always buy the emblems against incuses at the merchant to recover runes
• use his runes to craft gems and upgrade your gems
• sell all you can at the market:
  • gems collected in dungeons, especially tourmalines
  • charms with twice a bonus for a class can sell for 2500 platinum
  • by adding the 300 quest platinums per day, you will arrive at 2100 + 2500 + 1000 per week, approximately 5500 platinums

Improve his infernal reliquary

The other complicated point, but still less than the gems, is the infernal reliquary. For this there is a lot to know:
