To know and understand the retouching stone system as well as the equipment family bonuses on Diablo Immortal!

The functioning

To have a family bonus, you must have 3 attributes of the same family on the same equipment. Note that without paying, you can only get Retouch Stones, giving a random family. Of course, this guide will be based on the Free to Play model to help you get your family bonuses. You have 5 attributes per family and 6 families, i.e. a chance in 6 of having the right family and a chance in 30 of having the right attribute. You must be paragon 220 to be able to unlock the 3rd attribute and thus the family bonus!

Stones and Families

Here are the different families, watch out for this one do not stack :

• Inferno: 2% chance to summon a Hydra when killing an enemy
• Earthquake: 2% chance to inflict area damage and stun on basic attacks
• Electroshock: 2% chance to stun the attacker when hit
• Vengeance: 2% chance to increase your damage for one second on basic attacks
• Barrier: 2% chance to shield when hit
• Ravager: 2% chance to explode a corpse when killing an enemy

Here are the different attributes of the families, with the most interesting attributes in bold:

• Braise Wildfire:
  • basic attack damage
  • skill damage
  • damage to enemies with less than 30%
  • critical damage
  • group care while dying
• Tremor earthquake:
  • reduces opponent's healing via basic attack
  • reduces movement and attack speed via basic attack
  • reduces continuous damage taken
  • stun resistance
  • knockback resistance
• Jolt Electroshock:
  • reduces damage dealt by other players
  • reduces damage taken from crowd control effects
  • chance to cheat death
  • duration of beneficial effects
  • slowdown resistance
• Revenge :
  • Attack speed
  • Damage dealt to players
  • Damage inflicted on demons
  • Damage dealt to enemies under CC
  • Damage dealt to enemies with shield
• Barrier Barrier:
  • Damage dealt to undead
  • Max HP
  • Damage reduced by nearby enemies
  • chance to block
  • resistance to fear
• Ravager Ravager:
  • Potion Cooldown
  • Regeneration of life
  • Damage dealt to elites
  • Damage inflicted by your creatures
  • Damage suffered by your creatures

How to get touch up stones easily?

Even if the incuse merchant offers you 8 retouch stones per week, it costs a lot of incuse and it will not be enough to obtain good passives and the family bonus. I therefore advise you not to spend your incuses on these stones. The best and almost only way is to reach legend rank in pvp, which is very simple by doing only your three PvP matches per day. Already two cycles have passed on Leoric, which gives me just over 160 touch-up stones.
