How to find and kill the Uber Echo of Malphas Season 3 Diablo IV in order to find the unique stones Genesis and Evernight!

This guide has been updated with Diablo 1.3 patch 4.a and Echo of Malphas level 100.

How to find Echo of Malphas in Diablo 4

The Echo of Malphas is a level 100 version of the boss, giving you a chance to obtain the two unique stones Genesis and Evernight. You will need enough Warding to open all the chests but also when you are hit by traps, especially on the boss. Go to the door room, then the Loom Vault. Once in the instance, be very careful to convert your protection pearls into warding from Zoltan of Kulle before paying to enter the dungeon, otherwise you will no longer be able to make the exchange. You will need :

• of 7 hearts to enter the dungeon
• of 3 pearls to open all the chests (22 protections in total to open the 10 + 4 + 1 x 8)
• of X pearls to resist bosses and traps, count between 2 and 5
• i.e. 5 to 8 pearls of warding

The dungeon will ask you to find the four stones to then confront the boss, with many traps throughout the entire dungeon.

Where to Farm Pearls of Warding Season 3 Diablo 4

Since you'll need a lot of pearls, here's how to collect them:

• the brazier of the seasonal event, which will give you 1 pearl of warding at the end. Remember that obelisks give you an elemental heart, with three you can activate the brazier. Ideally, do it in a group or take advantage when you see it active!
• Vault dungeons, which gives some pearls at the end, but if you do it for this purpose, you will have to keep your pearls and not take advantage of the bonus chests

How to know if your build is powerful enough to take on Echo of Malphas on Diablo 4

The Echo of Malphas is long and expensive in wardstone. You will therefore have to be powerful enough so as not to waste your time or your resources! If you have enough damage, you will be able to kill Malphas before being hit by the traps, and therefore lose protection from Zoltan Kulle. Here are the prerequisites:

• he has two blade attacks, one with two blades and one with three blades
• it does not change as the encounter progresses, however you will have to be very careful about the summoned conduits
• the effects of each conduit become more and more powerful, if you do not destroy the conduit before Malphas "sucks it", you will be killed. Once a conduit is destroyed, another is directly created. Here are the effects of conduits:
  • Poison: poison waves and ground traps
  • Lightning: lightning on the ground and stone that follows you (like in a nightmare dungeon)
  • Ice: stalactites and areas on the ground
  • Fire: fire zone on the ground and flaming areas

To summarize, do the most damage to the boss by avoiding his attacks and the powers of the conduits. Destroy the conduit as soon as it becomes too powerful to avoid dying or suffering too much loss of protection from Zoltan Kulle!

Where to find the unique Harmony Stones Total Night and Genesis Diablo 4 Season 3

Clarification to end this article and even if this is not the only method to obtain these two unique stones, killing Uber Malphas will give you the best possible chance of getting your hands on them.
