Why the Paladin Judgment Last Epoch?
The Paladin is a resistant class and very popular alone or in a team thanks to its Sacred Aura which will give bonuses to the whole group. This paladin has the particularity of being played without a weapon to benefit from all the bonuses of the "Hand of Justice" gloves which will allow you to very regularly cast your Judgment damage spell. These gloves are easily obtained in the maps of "Ending the Storm" which is found quite early in the monolith route, so you will be able to play this build quite early in the game.
This character requires some handling, the gameplay is not usual. Your Judgment skill will consume all of your mana to do maximum damage on impact and you will gain a healing aura that also deals significant damage just by moving. To compensate for this loss of mana, you will use the skill "Volatile Reversal" to instantly recover the mana you lost in the last 4 seconds, however you will return to your position 4 seconds back. This flashback requires some getting used to to be able to move easily on your maps but once mastered you will only have to run through the monsters to kill them only with your aura.
Judgment Paladin Skills Last Epoch
Once you obtain the gloves, you will use the following skills:
- Judgment, your primary damage spell
- Unstable reversal, for mana recovery
- Sacred Aura, for the different passive and active bonuses against bosses
- Rush, your first movement skill (to reposition yourself after backtracking)
- Javelin, your second movement skill in addition to healing you and giving a damage bonus to Judgment
Equipment
Favor these statistics for your equipment:
- harmonization
- effectiveness of healing (which boosts aura damage)
- mana
- general, elemental and/or fire damage over time
- vitality, resistances, armor
Grab the following unique items:
- Light of Rahyeh, specially made for Judgment (very rare)
- Cradle of the Erased (common), these basic passives are very good, with a little luck you will obtain effective healing and chances of blocking with Will
- Singularity (uncommon)
For idols, favor decorated Rahyeh idols (2x2) for healing efficiency bonuses and a Singularity, complete your resistances with the remaining slots.

- Paladin (80 points): Conviction, Defiance, Honor, Bravery, Fire from Heaven, Sacred Icon, Dedication, Armor of Faith, Guardian of Sanctuary, Rampart of Shields, Reverence of Duality
You can put your remaining points into Prayer.
Synergies with other classes
The Paladin will be able to bring a good number of bonuses to the team thanks to his Sacred Aura as well as Judgment and will be even more appreciated with Fire characters:
- 30% Bonus Damage
- 40% Elemental Resistances
- 15% stamina
- 20% Poison Resistances
- Removing negative items upon activation
- 50% additional damage in Fire
- 10% Fire Penetration
- 50 HP/second (without taking into account healing improvements) for all allies present in the Judgment aura
Remember that thanks to your gloves, the more Attunement you have, the greater the aura of Judgment and therefore your allies will be able to stay out of danger more easily.
Gameplay
Group a group of monsters and cast Judgment directly, the impact should destroy the entire group, if this is not the case, the aura will do the rest. Instantly cast Unstable Reversal to recover all your mana. Be careful if you miss the timing, without mana your character will do significantly less damage and you did not have a mana generator, so you will have to wait. Use Rush to reach the next group of monsters, your aura will kill them without needing to tap. Repeat these steps for most of your maps, against bosses and elites, throw their Javelin at them to activate the damage bonus before activating Judgment, all you have to do is go around in circles to avoid damage until to wait for your next Judgment.
