Principle of the build

What this build is based on:

• lightning spheres for very good damage
• lots of resistance
• be permanently under barrier

This build is more resistant and keeps the same damage as a variant with Thibault. Note that burning is applied via the Flame Shield for damage affixes to burning enemies and reduced damage taken from burning enemies.

Equipment and statistics

Consider these aspects:

• Helmet: Shako, Face of Andarielle or Crown of the Divinity Slayer
• Weapon 1: Arrogance Aspect: +25% damage under barrier
• Weapon 2: Aspect of the elements: +30% damage per cycle
• Boots: Aspect of carnage: +20% movement speed which helps gameplay and boosts the Sphere
• Gloves: Rumbling Storm Aspect: +30% damage to vulnerable targets under barrier, they are all vulnerable thanks to the paragon 'Static Surge'
• Armor: Aspect of disobedience: +66% armor, no need to put it on the amulet we quickly reach the 85% mark
• Amulet: Gravity Aspect for the spheres around us with +38% damage
• Ring: Aspect of concentration: +50% mana regeneration when not taking damage, perfect with Temerity
• Ring: Tal Rasha, for the damage boost

Here are the statistics to have:

• 30%+ critical chance
• 12%+ attack speed
• 30%+ mana cost reduction
• 25%+ mana regeneration
• 20%+ CDR
• 7K+ armor
• 14K+ life

Specialization

For enchanting spells take:

• Chain Lightning for Mana Regen and Vulnerability Application
• Frozen orb for better survivability, DPS increased by 9% thanks to 'White Frost', DPS further increased thanks to the application of an additional element

Vampiric Powers

Take these five vampire powers :

• Prey on the Weak - additional vulnerable damage, opponents under vampire curse vulnerable
• Ravenous - chance to increase attack speed by 40% of your movement speed on one attack
• Metamorphosis - to be unstoppable
• Anticipation - cooldown and ultimate damage
• Undying - to generate barrier with Temerity

You can also consider applying poison damage for the 15% extra damage via Tal Rasha.

Gems

For gems put:

• in armor of rubies for life
• in weapons critical damage on vulnerable targets
• in the accessories specific element resistances or diamonds

Paragon

For the paragon, take in this order:

1. The Enchantment glyph: +97% non-physical damage and two resists boosted to 75% max
2. Chain Lightning Plateau - The Adept Glyph: +148.5% mastery skill damage
3. Crackling Energy Board (without taking the node) - The Territory glyph: +97% damage to nearby targets
4. Enchantment Board (without taking the node) - The Absorption glyph: +97% damage when in good health + 30% healing boost
5. Burn damage tray (without taking the node) - The Destruction glyph: +194% critical damage
