Diablo 4 PTR Date

The Public Test Realm PTR will be from April 2 to 9 on Diablo 4 only on PC. All changes from season 4 will be there and it is accessible to everyone. You can take advantage of this to test the balancing and new features for the future season. Please note, all your progress on the PTR characters will be deleted, it is a temporary kingdom intended only for testing.

Please note, all the modifications summarized below may therefore evolve during this PTR.

Quality of life and global innovations

Here are the various improvements and additions to the game:

• the infernal wave is available at all levels and is more dynamic
• new unique uber, Tyrael's Might: max resistance, resistance, stats, reduced damage, divine barrage cast if your life is full
• new uber boss, Andarielle: summoned with the components of Ice Beast and Lord Zir, has the same drops as Duriel
• hardcore: removal of anti-death elixir, sorcerer's fire shield no longer saves life
• majority of unique obtainable in T1 and T2, all unique obtainable in T3 (before, in T4),
• unique uber obtainable at level 55+, even if very rare
• 95+ monsters give 925 items
• comfort and interest improve for gems and recycling

Balancing Season 4 Diablo 4

Here is the campfire summary on game and class balancing:

• nerf Thibault and Talisman of the Banished Lord
• Barbarian: charge nerf and HOTA
• sorcerer: mastered skills are also main skills, up from Jelly Orb and new unique associate
• Druid: Wolf companions inherit 100% of your stats, up to the ultimate laceration
• Necromancer: summons inherit 100% of your stats, more choices in the book of the dead
• Rogue: Inner Vision grants energy and critical chance
• items giving a skill (Dust Devils, Lightning Bolt, Earthquake,...) are now based on the power of your character (and no longer a fixed value)

• you can then apply it as desired on your equipment

Here is the campfire summary on the quality of life of objects:

• three affixes instead of four
• two additions of affixes possible via crafting scrolls
• you can drop powerful affixes, increasing the max value by 50% and guaranteed at max roll. For example, a dexterity value between 50 and 100 will necessarily be 150 on an increased affix
• you can increase the power of your item, from 0/12 to 12/12, improving the value of the three basic affixes

Endgame Season 4 Diablo 4

Here's the campfire summary of what's new in endgame:

• instance The Pit, La Fosse in French
• base level 100 increaseable
• Allows you to recover Tempering and Masterwork craft materials
• allows you to recover the Stygian Stones
• Info from Joe Shely (Game Director Diablo 4, via twitter), Lord Zir, Grigoire, Ice Beast and Varshan will also have a chance to drop unique ubers, even if the best place to farm them will remain Andarielle and Duriel.

Stygian Stones allow you to summon farming bosses at level 200.
